In June when all the flowers bloom
In gardens, woods and fields
And weeds grow tall along the roads.
When days are long and full of sun
And nights are short and warm
The sun shines longer every day
But we know that it cannot stay
At summer solstice it must turn
And every day will cede to night
The minutes gained through spring.

As summer wanes and fall grows near
The dark of night grows darker.
The August moon is huge and red
It seems to want to compensate
For the retreating sun.
And all across the August nights
The broad swath of the milky way
Shows off its multitude of stars
And streaks of gold criss cross the dark***
When stars fall off the sky

like the ideas here, mixed genre sound, somewhere between country/alt rock and unique...i like the overall melody and the instrumentation--overall very avant garde!

I like the emotional sounding voice and the sound of the drums and bass guitar.

Cool sound in the beginning catches your ear...what is it? Unique and intriguing vocal. I like the mix of instruments, well blended, good choice of instruments. I like the switch from major (spring) in the beginning and as fall approaches, it changes to minor. Cool ending too. Best of luck! - Annie Lynn

Sweet and pretty song. Really nice arrangement. Makes me want to go outside and sit under a tree!

This was a very interesting, creative and different song to listen to. At first, when I heard the innovative electronic intro, I thought it was going to be video game music, so I was surprised when the braniac lyrics kicked in with a poetic/scientific approach....very innovative. I really liked the instrumentation....was that a fretless bass I heard or a synth rendition of it. The song is well mixed; liked the guitars, too.
