Steve is a singer/songwriter writing songs in a variety of genres from Southern Rock, Instrumentals soundscapes to original Rock and Soul music for his band "Urban Gypsies" mixed with a little New Orleans gumbo of music.

Urban Gypsies began playing in the New Orleans area in 1997. The band members have years of playing in clubs from Tipitania's to Jazzfest. You can hear New Orleans in some of the keys, blues and even Latin rhythm in their sound. Mix it all up and you get the Urban Gypsies.

His sound is a fined tuned melting pot of styles. Formal training on guitar began at age nine and continued by playing south Louisiana in R&B, Top 40, Fusion and Blues Bands, such as Midnight Shift, Keeper and the 50's show band The Crescents. All of this comes out in his emotional vocal style and songwriting.
