I wanted a stoner rock type song that some groove and driving power behind it. Luckily Jeff on drums really made this song work as he gave it that driving beat that really made me understand what the song needed to be. The theme was always about being addicted to this lifestyle and the recognition you can achieve by really working hard at it.

Song Description

This song is about addiction, not necessarily to drugs or gambling in a casino, but more-so the gamble of choosing the lifestyle of a musician. Being a musician is a thankless job, your work is constantly being criticized by others, the people who care about you constantly question your lifestyle, and it requires your complete focus and determination to succeed. The song deals with the feeling like your losing your mind and soul at times because of how much energy and time it takes to make it in this industry.
