Story Behind The Song

This song was originally written in 2006 using a new synth called a Korg Oasys. It had a unique feature called KARMA that created an arpeggio that could be played automatically - following the keyboard playing a bass note and melody - WAY before AI. This was the inspiration for the original musical part of the song and one of the first instrumentals I posted here on Broadjam. The lyrics were written in a very different time of my life. I updated them a bit to modernize them and reach a broader audience - in its message. Over 50 tracks and countless hours went into the recording of this track. I liked the 'newer' version so much, we recorded an 'unplugged' version as well. If you like this song, you'll love the modern unplugged duet version! Enjoy!!
