Story Behind The Song

Reflections, the title song of my albums is a about thinking back and remembering the path we have been on, the choices we have made along the way. Remembering dreams, dreams from childhood, of what we wanted to be when we grew up, and realizing we grew up and left our dreams behind. I chose many paths, happily raised my children, and almost let my dream die. Something awakened in me and I realized that life is too short to do what we don't want to do. Our dreams are there for a reason, and we don't have to blindly follow a crowd and live our lives through we think we should do, or what society thinks we should do. In a daze I walked through the motions of life, and was miserable. Until I awakened and began to do what I love, charted a new course, navigated by the winds of change found my true path again. In the midst of it all realizing not being "normal was ok" and stepped out of my comfort zone. I became unstuck.
