Lyrics

The sound you never want to hear
The sound of screaming, the sound of panic
Splits like an axe into your ear
While you're just dozing in your chair

It's time to wake up
Before it all starts going wrong
You'll get away with doing nothing
But not for very long
It's time to wake up
Face up to your fears
Or you may wake to the sound of panic

There's something going on out there
But I'm just hoping that no one needs me
I'm sitting comfy in my chair
Neglecting all responsibilities

Somewhat avante guarde or maybe alt take on Gypsy early 20'th century Paris vibe. Maybe Lenard Cohen meets Edith Piaf and they have a drink with Jean Paul Satre. Can't beat that....well maybe you can.... now I'm not sure.

Different, like the violin, adds character. guitar ok, voice not bad, entertaining.
