Story Behind The Song

I first heard this melody in my head as I was watching a beautiful sunset on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. From where I was standing, I could see the reflection of light on the water casting a sort of magical pathway all the way out to where the sun met the water on the horizon. This sunset reflection fascinated me, and caused me to think of how the light of other's lives had cast a simliar reflection on my heart.
