I Fell

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song because I think a lot of things people look for are right there in front of their eyes all the time like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. What people want and need has more often than not been there all along.

Song Description

This song is about someone who has a lifelong friend that they have done everything with and knows will always be there for them. One day they are going about as they usually do and one person notices a different feeling for this person. they decide they are in love with their lifelong friend and wish they had know this a long time ago. They wouldn't have wasted so much time on other people.

Lyrics

I don't recall the day I met you. No I don't even know if it was burnin' up with sunshine or covered up in snow. I don't remember the time of day, It doesn't matter anyway. The most important news I'll ever live to tell, I fell. I fell for you along the road my feelings changed to loving you. like the blind made to see or a prisoner set free I went down on my knees and I fell. Feels like a light has finally come on and surrounded me. If it had come on years ago there's so much I would have seen.. I could have seen how perfect we were you and me. I feel like someone who was sick and now is well. I fell.
