Story Behind The Song
We know of many women, including ourselves, who have struggled with inner battles or with external crises that have held them back from tapping into their own innate power and strength. Some of us are lucky enough to have come through that to a much more stable and strong position later in our lives; this song is to encourage those who are still struggling, by telling them that they can get there, as others have before them.
Song Description
The woman this song is about has come through earlier struggles that left her fragile and vulnerable, to find an inner sense of peace and power.

Lyrics
Woman You Are Now
You've been through many changes,
Lived through harder times,
Wrestled with the shadows
Of a deeply troubled mind;
But you fought your way through it,
Grew up and calmed right down--
Now a sense of inner peace shines from
The woman you are now.
There were times you nearly gave up,
Each day just struggled through
A world where nothing made sense
Where fear was all you knew;
Didn't think that you could do it,
But you battled through somehow,
And found the strength to grow into
The woman you are now.
You are strong in body, mind and soul,
Where that miracle came from you'll never know;
Fragile transformed into power
In the years it took to find the woman you are now.
Now, now, now, oh.
Now you know that time is precious,
So treasure it each day,
Live life to the full
Before the years take it away;
You fought through darkness to find light,
Yet can't believe how
That frightened little girl became
The woman you are now.
You are strong in body, mind and soul,
Where that miracle came from you'll never know;
Fragile transformed into power
In the years it took to find the woman you are now.
Now, now, now, now.
