The entire panoramic vista of human emotion packed into a powerhouse of a rock anthem and an awesome example of the very best of human experience focused, and rolled up into a tightly focused laser beam of energy and imagination ... awesome.
I really like the lead vocals and the backing vocals as well, I also like the rhythm guitar.
Great tune and easy to tell that it's great by this acoustic version. The guitar, vocals, and lyrics make this song perfectly poised for an acoustic sync opportunity or for a remake with a rock band for the biggest of stars. Nice work.
This song doesn't seem to be broadcast quality. The song has a good idea behind it, and the melody is simple but comes across. I think this song has potential if played by a full band, and with the right producer.
The strongest point in this song is the heartfelt vocal. The emotion really comes through. I like the guitar playing. I would be curious to know what kind of a guitar you were playing (sounds like a Martin with brand new strings). Great word picture: Heart locked up in chains. Also I like the front porch word picture for the first verse. Very effective. The chorus of this song is nicely written!
I like acoustical music but this song lost me about a minute into it. The musical breaks helped break up the song a bit but the writer needs some sort of separate to take the listener in a different direction.
It's like a Bruce Springsteen ballad, quite intense and intimate. The sound is amateurish, but it's not a problem [for me]. As a song, not as a recording, it could probably be pitched to somebody, as it's got commercial potential, as far as I can hear.
Very good melody and a catchy song. I'd like to hear this with full instrumentation. I think it would really build nicely with the inclusion of drums/bass/piano etc.
