Hi.

My background is in classical music. I studied piano and composition at the Adelaide Conservatorium. Left that world behind. Moved to Melbourne. Tried my hand at stage acting, directing and music directing. Joined a couple of RockNRoll bands. Played in the pub scene for 3 years. Moved back to Adelaide. Committed myself to the craft of a singer songwriter. Debuted as a performer of my own material in April 2006.

The world is an infinitely complex network. Hurricanes we are told may be generated by the movement of a butterfly wing. Everything effects everything else. Music connects people like nothing else. I take that seriously. A song is like a time capsule floating in space. You place in it signs and objects that you hope will be understood. Send it up and out. And then you wait.
