Common Ground was forged with love in the fiery depths of the Commercial Music Program at McLennan Community College in Waco, TX. Phil Wilson (drums) and Steven Rosas (guitar) formed CG in 1990 while attending the program...it was rock at first sight, and the band was born. The catalyst for Common Ground's sound can be attributed to the addition of Bill Hunter on silky lead vocals & guitar & Chuck Williams on meat-and-potatoes bass. Both members also attended the Music Program and the combination of influences helped give the band's sound a broader range of textures without sacrificing the energy and smells their fans have come to expect. Inspired by artists like Foo Fighters, Tonic, Collective Soul and Jellyfish...a trio of all-original, recordings were released: Mostly on Mondays (1996) Fragile (1999) & Take 3 (2004).
