Songwriting success continues to build during the year for Jerry Glidewell. Several of his songs have been released as singles, including "Ride This Road" and "Heart Condition" which both went # 1 on the Hot Disc UK/Irish chart for the band Hurricane Highway. Andrew Sevener, from NBC's "The Voice" recorded six of Glidewell's songs. Country music vocal icon and Grand Ole Opry performer recorded a Glidewell gospel song called "Man of Galilee" and Jeremy Studdard released the Glidewell penned "Your Heart or Mine" as a single. Danish CMA winner Mark Blomsteel recorded "Steve McQueen" written by Glidewell. Other artists cutting Glidewell songs include: The Mighty Trainwrecks, Temple Veil, Lauren Mascitti, Amy Assister, Backroad Anthem, Cindy Hughlett and Kristi Warner.

In 2020, Glidewell's song "Greener Grass" moved up the Texas Radio charts with the late artist Ms. Taylor Dee. The single was on Taylor's debut album Take a Shot On Me. Glidewell landed seven songs on her album. In 1999, Mark Blomsteel released "Contagious" (Glidewell/Roland) as a single to country radio. Long-time Nashville band The Mighty Trainwrecks cut Glidewell/Roland's song "Grenadine." CCM duo Midwest Meets Manhattan cut two of Glidewell's songs including "That's Why I Like the Rain" (Glidewell/Little) and "The Place" (Glidewell/Little).
In December 2018, the "Gift of Christmas"Glidewell/Brysson/DeRock) was part of the CCM group Temple Veil's Christmas album. The song was previously released as a single in 2016. They also co-wrote two songs on Cindy Hughlett's gospel album (Mansion Records) "Tapestry of Skin."
Over the years Glidewell has had songs recorded by Kristi Warner, Maddie Deneault, Lauren Mascitti, Amy Assister, Crawford & James, Backroad Anthem and bluegrass artist Amanda Cook. Glidewell co-wrote "Home Run" which was recorded by MacKenzie Morgan for the Chicago White Sox. His song "Be Still" was recorded by the Christian group CO3 and aired on the Oxygen Network.
Glidewell is a former keyboard player for Carrie Underwood, who performed a couple of his songs during her pre-idol days with the band 71 South. As a jingle writer, Glidewell has written for banks, car dealerships, the United Way, Old Fort Days Rodeo, etc. Glidewell played baseball at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith
and graduated from the University of the Ozarks.
