Hi Marvin! Thx for the high scores on "Gunther" I did that in Memphis, Tennessee with two guitar players from Black Oak Arkansas a while back. I was 26 at the time and had to borrow the money to go to Memphis but it paid off in spades! ps have enjoyed your stuff for a long time! Happy Chestnuts! catnip=+=
Happy Holidays from From Florida Marvin! You're always surprising me with your tunes! catnip=+=
Hello Miss Kate. I don't have the software for that But NCH software has it that can remove vocals from any song. Good luck Marvin
Thanks for rattling my cage about the low volume on a sax tune you reviewed......it's a very old track but I'll fix it......
Hi Buck Thanks for the prop for " Good For One More". No I don't have a vocal version of this one...... What I do is build tracks for others to top line...I have about 1,400 stacks on BJ and adding daily. about half have not been top lined
Wow...that's great! I have a studio here I track some of my songs and others I use people I know in Nashville. I use to live there. Love to write lyrics. I'll have to listen to some of your tracks!
Good stuff......I haven't heard anything I don't like from you guys.....Do you have a studio in Tualatin?....do you have a host of session players.....or are you a band? I hear good vocals male and female......that's cool.....but do you have a fiddle player, pedal steel player, piano player etc. I might be hip to buying a trak for some of my stuff.....get back if you have a minute....Thanks....Tramel HFO Music.
Hi Gregg, No studio...... Basically, I'm a retired pro traveling musician turned song writer/composer/producer. I build my own tracks (I'm a track guy)..... for originals targeted at Film and TV....I don't sing for beans so I'm lucky enough to have some great singers to work with. They are from all over the world.. There are different arrangements such as: 1... Splits.... ie 50/50 etc Zero out of pocket 2... Sing For Hire where the vocalists have no other claims to the song 3... Artist purchase of a track So depending on your goals, lets discuss.. Thanks Marvin. "skyhighmusiclabs@gmail.com"
Cool.....Im retired too.....doing pretty much the same thing.....originals for film, tv etc........my session players pretty much died off, got sick, or moved away. Bless their hearts....but sometimes I need a trak.....I thought you might have some players hanging out. I learned all these skills over the years....then the digital change and DAW world yada......then everybody hauled ass....baahaaaaa. I just got back into writing this summer....trying to learn all the genre etc......found out I dont know jack anymore. So my first attempts at Funk, Indie Folk, Pop, Chill are coming out....so far so good for not knowing shit about genres...bahaaaaa. Anyway thanks for getting back....hope you get some killer placements!......tramel
It's much busier highway than it used to be.......A LOT of novices on getting on the same HWY......I love anybody on the same road I'm on.......there's side roads, rest stops, and lots of attractions and distractions......some travel the hwy for just awhile while others haven't come to its end yet! If you ever want to chat. 503 810 7384. Marvin "skyhighmusiclabs@gmail.com"
baahaa......2 weeks to comment back.....wow Marvin your worse than I am responding to folks.......retired is good.....bahaaa........back to the studio......for my next 0 download Broadjam hit......bahaaaaaa

SKY HIGH MUSIC LABS
Hey Brandon Thanks for the great review of my Bluegrass ditty "Better Is Up"
Thanks for the generous review of "It's On My Blood"
Hey Marvin, I'm sorry that my song when I'm with you when I'm with you wasn't for you. That song and another similar one (Hand In Hand) were written/recorded for specific weddings (hence the spoke intros and outros by the actual Brides and Grooms). I thought the actual songs were okay to have out there. In retrospect and reflection, I've recategorized both of those songs from "Pop-General" to "Unique-Unclassified" so that listeners won't get music that that doesn't match what they were expecting to hear. Thanks for listening, Frank
Hey Marvin, Sorry my song "When I'm With You" wasn't for you. In retrospect, I have recategorized that (and another similar song... Hand In Hand) from "Pop - General" to "Unique - Unclassified". Those pieces were written for specific weddings (hence the spoken intros and outros by the actual Brides & Grooms), and I thought the songs themselves were okay to put out there. I appreciate you listening. Your perspective helped me to reflect and refine the categorization, and hopefully avoid someone getting music to review that didn't match what they were expected to hear. Frank
Thank you, you guys, for all the 5 stars.... much appreciated. I love doing original instrumentals and some of them cry out for a story to be told......sometimes, it takes a few different vocalists, to bring the story to life...and become part of that instrumental.. Thanks again
Hey thanks for the 5 stars for Private Stash
Hey Marvin, glad you liked my "Who Put a Toothpick in my Waterbed" song... As you may have guessed, that REALLY happened. As my late mother used to say, Truth be stranger than fiction. How ya feeling? Mrs. Kate
Thanks for the review Marvin! Mrs Kate
Thanks for reviewing my song, "Don't Go Out Side Tonite" You mentioned it needs a vocal on it to get more stars..... I'd love to have as many vocalist as I can get....I don't sing, I just build song beds.... Marvin
Do you write the lyrics or do want the singer to write them?
I have some songs that I have written lyrics to, but for the most part I leave it up to the vocalists to interpret track and paint their own picture
Thanks for the great review and yes, it was a Dobro.... Marvin
Hey SMH.... we're on a roll! Ya'll got another one mine to review... an older one this time, "Shot From The Backseat". Thanks for listening and giving the review. I'm glad you liked this one. Be and stay well! Frank
Hey again SHML, You've gotten a few of my tunes lately to review... thanks for the latest one on "One Red Rose (sung by yours truly)". I appreciate you taking the time to listen... and review it. Be and stay well! Frank
Thank you
Hey SHML, Thanks for the review on "Kids Want Santa"... appreciate you taking the time to listen! Frank
Marvin, glad you liked Hero in my Eyes. I sang it at my senior gig this week and they loved it too. A tribute to my parents. Your friend in music, Mrs. Kate thanks for the review!
Thanks Kenny for the positive review of Muscle Schols Blues..... Marvin
Thanks Kenny for the comments on "It's A Wonder To Me" by Cooper...... Do you ever collaborate? I'm basically a track guy......let me know Thanks, Marvin
Sorry. I really don't. My wife is singer/musician. She was on that 60's show Shindig and sang backup for lots of people and I can't write with her either. But we've only been married 35 years so maybe it will change in time.
Thanks anyway my friend... I really like your stuff..... Marvin
"A Wonder To Me" by Cooper Is one of the best songs I've heard on Broadjam. MKP
Hello Mike, I have a song you might be interested in doing, but the BJ Marketplace is kinda weird loading a project for your consideration. I have the song bed, lyric sheet and scratch vocal...is there another way to get it to you?
Sure! Tonesearch@gmail.com Mike
