Stephen "Brandon" Hegar is a classically trained musician who grew up in the Austin, TX music scene. There he explored a melting pot of genres the Live Music Capital of the World had to offer.
Hegar is half of the indie-electro duo BK & Mr. E along with another Austin native, Jason Blanchette. Their distinct layering of sounds has been compared to artists such as Queen, Prince, Outkast, The Police and The Beach Boys. Their song, "
Sand" has been featured in the ABC show, "The Middle".
Now relocated to Maryland, Hegar continues to pursue Radio, Film and TV sync opportunities.
