What can I say. All very well balanced, well done arrangements and overall sound of the tracks. And the acoustic - read not computer generated - instruments are well played and refreshing. Excellent guitar.
Thanks Mate, very appreciated!
Very very nice,Emmett North Jr.
Not sure I like words over Salonicco, maybe a female voice in a more operatic style, sorry its such a powerful piece, the words just cheapen it for me.
Thank you Barry, I may agree with you. The fact is that this piece was born as an instrumental and Randal Dunkle proposed to add the lyrics to it. I believe that the story is powerful and dark. Not an easy one. But I like it. I am more into instrumentals, I have another musical life as a songwriter with my band and as a co-writer. This is a instrumental only side of my music since I love to write music that has that cinematic feel. Thank you for that kind words.
Thanks Max - I loved working with you, maybe we could do that again - Barry is right though, a female vocalist may be the way to go and yes Salonicco is a very power piece of music on it's own - best wishes Max!
Hi, I read your review of my song Enola Tremula. Thank you for your effort. But I am afraid you did miss the point of the whole song and the experiment behind it. No harm. But I hope that in the future you try to listen to music with a more open mind. You are confinin yourself in a small cage. But thanks anyway for the effort. Best.
Well I would politely disagree with the notion that I do not have an open mind to music and confine myself to a "small cage" I re-read the review, and I remember the song well, and I stand 100% behind what I said. However if you somehow think I missed the "point" or the "experiment" of the song, please feel free to try to explain it to me. Honestly, it bothers me a little bit that you would claim that I am somehow not enlightened enough to enjoy or understand your song, that you tell me I do not understand the deeper point or meaning, but you make no attempt to explain what that point or deeper meaning is. So I went to your page and looked at what you had written there about the song, and it makes less sense to me. Your written description of the song has almost no correlation to the song in my opinion.
Massimo, I was just listening to my song 3 Minutes",which I had not listenened to in a while and saw your comment..Grazie mille!! It is very much appreciated. Ciao Ron
Thanks for your review Max - talk to you soon!

Deal with the devil is a small pearl. Thank you!
Thanks for the review of Enola Tremula. I particularly liked the title you guessed. Thank you!
Thank you for your 5stars on my "Teardrops".
Thank you Massimo for the 5 star rating. It's been a real pleasure listening to your music. I think contemporary/modern dance choreographers would really take notice of pieces like Teardrops. Collaboration with dancers and choreographers can be truly inspiring, not to mention a great way to gain a wider audience. All best, Amy
Hi Massimo, thanks so much for the 5*'s! Really love your music, the vibe and atmosphere of 'Enola tremula' is incredible! Congrats! J Edna Mae

Thanks for he 5stars on Mediterraneo!
Hi Randal. Thanks for the review of Enula Tremula. The song is strange indeed. I was immagining the state of mind of the crew that released the 1st atomic bomb. I know it's a unusual thing but I was inspired and I folloewed it. And it was an improvvised playing on the drones.
Your very good at what you do Max, I think that you did capture the desired results, I knew it was you because Ive listened to all your songs on Broadjam, best wishes and I'll talk to you soon.
Great song Max - you really captured your desired results!

"Enola tremula"..........such a beautifully sad, haunting and melodic memoir to that particular point in the planet's history, Massimo; stunning production! This needs to be in a film!
Hi Simon, thank you for your review of "Milkway drive". The song is classified "Unique - Soundtrack" and is part of my compositions for movies and multi-media I'm writing. It's also the overtoure of a project about transhumance that I will publish in the next few months.
Thanks for the review of "Washing Machine Music". As you spotted it was a bit of fun around the noises that the washing machine makes. Surprisingly popular at the time though
Just reviewed a tune of yours my brother. Loved it. Grat Michael Buble' style and vocal tone. "Baby that's How I know" All the best my talent friend.

Beautiful composition Massimo! I enjoyed the lovely lament; my pleasure!
Dear Kate, I noticed that you expressed some interest in the way my guitar was recorded in the song Mediterraneo. I post the information to you here. The guitar is an Epiphone EAE5WRNH3 1963 EJ-45 Acoustic Guitar - Wine Red, a beautiful reissue of the Gibson original. I miked it with a Röde NT-5 with Omni capsule, just in front of the hole, about 5". The mic pre is an Amek/Neve 9098 there is no Eq or compression. Reverb and delay are plugins. Delay is H-delay by Waves with a Ping-pong preset modified by me. Reverb is Avid Revibe with my custom programming. I recorded the guitar in the control room.
Obviously you know what you're doing! Wow. K
Dear Kate, Apart from being a musician since 1975, I am a pro recording and mixing engineer since 1980. So recording is my profession and composing my hobby. Or vice-versa, sometimes one prevails. ;-) The idea of using omni mikes comes from Al Schmitt, a great engineer I admire. It's my preferred way of miking acoustic intruments.
Wow again
