The intimate story:
David Robert Mohr was born in New Haven Connecticut in July of 1962. Being interested in music and stage from a very young age, he performed on stage & with bands starting in 4th grade; he had the lead role in: The Crab That Played With The Sea. He assisted in creating & arranging several songs used in the play.
David wrote his first song in 3rd grade about a robin moving him to the musical side of entertainment. He began drum lessons, but was unable to continue due to financial set-backs.
He delved deeper into songs analyzing their lyrics, melodies, backing vocals, harmonies & instrumentation.
Continuing to write, he decided it was time to learn a melodic instrument. After much convincing, encouragement & the gift of a guitar from an ole band mate he left the drums & learned guitar so he could put music to his lyrics. He has also written novels & short stories.
