Frank Prenevost

Frank Prenevost started playing the banjo and guitar at age 16. Hooked on folk and bluegrass music he quickly added the mandolin, fiddle, harmonica and bass guitar. At age 21 Frank fell in love with the music of the Allman Brothers, Lynryd Skynyrd and Eric Clapton and formed the southern rock edged band Hester Agner. In 1991 Frank and his brother Brien formed the country music duo The Truesdells. Just in time for the country music and line dance boom of the 90's, the duo was performing 6 nights a week at dance halls all over the Midwest. Line dancers loved the Truesdells perfect timing and custom sets of country dance hits. In 1995 The Truesdells released "Dancin in the Country" (available at www.cdbaby.com). Frank wrote all but two of the songs, selling nearly 3000 copies. The Truesdells opened for many touring acts including Merle Haggard, Toby Keith, Charlie Daniels and The Kentucky Headhunters, performing in Branson, MO. and Nashville, TN. The Midwest CMA named The Truesdells Duo of the year and Frank male vocalist of the year. In 2004 The Truesdells hung up their boots after a great 14 year career.

Frank, great job on I Miss Lake Bemidji! The whole album is a huge hit in my mind! As a matter of fact, I Miss Lake Bemidji has kind of become known as the Muskie Fishing Anthem in Minnesota.
All the best,
Michael

Frank, Great Job on Lonely Loon! Beautiful and haunting, just as the loon's cry. I can hear the ghost lyrics on the melody line. Peace. - Nick

Thanks Nick! I just submitted it to a listing for a film asking for a haunting instrumental with a bright spot. Thats where the mandolin comes in. Thanks and I hope they like it also.
