1000 Lifetimes of Experience
Jim Gach brings the experience of a thousand lifetimes to the craft of song writing. His work as a counselor for the past 25 years has provided a rich vein of true-life material to draw on for his songs.
He is a lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD. Jim has played guitar since his teen years but only recently began putting his ideas into song. His early musical influence is drawn from a diverse group: Elvis, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Moody Blues, Willie Nelson, The Eagles, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Donovan and John Prine.
Garrick Alden is one of the premier guitarists in the mid-Atlantic region. He is a career musician, arranger and producer. Jim has been working with Garrick Alden to produce his songs. Garrick is an musical alchemist! He takes a well crafted song, and like an alchemist turns lead to gold ? same shape, same weight but now it sparkles. He played as a set musician for two years at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Alden was singled out as a world-class country guitar player by the late guitar legend Danny Gatton in an article in the prestigious Guitar Player Magazine.
