Jack Ezickson is an experienced songwriter and recording artist. His songs were pitched to the Nashville market by the late Cincinnati DJ Red Thornburg for several years. Red was shopping Jack's tunes as a teenage writer to Kenny Price and Buck Owens. Red became ill and passed away, and except for a few forays in the songwriter market during the past decade, the effort to plug songs to recording artists and publishers waned. While raising a family and building a career as a CPA, Jack continued his studies in music theory, guitar, and recording sciences as a protege of the renowned jazz guitarist and educator Chuck Anderson. He has also been a bass student of the great jazz bassist Gerald Veasley.
Since 2003, Jack has been recording in his personal studio and continues to write and compose songs for the country, pop, rock, jazz, Christian, and blues markets. He has completed numerous original song recordings found on the broadjam site. Enjoy!
