Watson and Calhoun is a acoustic duo that consists of two very talented musicians. Their complementary style feeds on energy they both contribute. Phil Watson (acoustic guitar and vocals) has a wide spectrum of style and range allowing for endless possibilities and combinations of sound. While Matt Calhoun (hand drums and vocals) intertwines every rhythm and harmony to create an emotional and energetic musical rollercoaster that will keep their audience guessing what will come next and leave them wanting more! With a repertoire of over 200 songs, including several original songs, they can play to any group of people in a variety of settings.
Watson and Calhoun have opened for national acts such as Cracker and Carbon Leaf. They have been featured in numerous articles and are regular live guests on FM 99.1 The Sound Acoustic Coffee Break with John Matthews.
