Trina comes from a family of musicians. However, she shied away from entertainment for most of her young life, choosing a career in finance instead. After witnessing a performance by Eddie Vedder, she reports the experience changed her life and in a dramatic overhaul, she left her successful finance career to follow the familial call of music. Trina taught herself how to play the guitar and soon began writing compositions. Since, she has played the top clubs in NYC, won a Local Show Live competition which now airs her song “Shades of Blue” on 88.5fm (St. Augustine, FL), nominated twice for NYC Jammy Awards as Best New Original Artist, and her songs continue to rank Top 10 on Broadjam.com.
