Mr. Buckman's compositions and songs have won awards from the Music Teachers National Association, New Music Miami Festival, BMI, and the Cecil Effinger award for composition from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received his DMA in 2009.

Mr. Buckman has scored more than a dozen independent short films, 2 feature lengths, had his music placed with InDigi Music, Song and Film, Tinderbox Music, and Sky Bound Entertainment libraries. His music has been used on shows such as Bad Girls Club and Kim & Kourtney Take New York. Mr. Buckman currently works as a performing guitarist and freelance composer.

Tim currently plays and can be seen on tour with the Kory Brunson Band. In the past year, the band has charted 2 Top 100 singles and headlined festival concerts such as the Taste of Colorado and Parker Days as well as venues such as the Grizzly Rose. Other performances this year include Memorial Day at Coors Field for the Colorado Rockies, the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, the NCAA Finals and opening dates for The Lost Trailers, Lauren Alaina, Chris Cagle and Dierks Bentley.

Short Bio

Mr. Buckman has degrees in guitar from Musician's Institute and Western Kentucky Univ. as well as graduate degrees in music composition from the Univ. of Colorado at Boulder. He has won awards in composition and songwriting from BMI, MTNA, the New Music Miami Festival and recieved the Cecil B. Effinger fellowship in 2004. He has produced artists ranging in style from pop to hard rock to country and has written music for more than a dozen films.
