Story Behind The Song

This song's lyrics were written by the author JD Arnold for the graphic novel, BB Wolf and the Three LP's. The music was written and performed by Spiral Trance. Based around main character BB Wolf, a farmer and blues musician living in the Mississippi Delta in the early twenties, the story is a dark, brilliant take on a classic fairy tale known to millions worldwide as The Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs. Segregation, lynching, and racism are all commonplace within this bloody tale, filled with great loss and a tearful, unjust fate. The discovery of The Lost Tapes of BB Wolf and the Howlers features music by some of the region's finest musicians including Spiral Trance, The Vega Star, and Big Wish among others.
