Nice build up in the intro to the first theme. Love the fretless bass idea there. The recording is well-done, too. Giving the fretless bass a little solo spot was nice.
Diggin' this. Modern. Accessible. Great lines. Nice development. Artist knows their craft.
Super cool smooth jazz piece. Rythm section is cooking with some very nice guitar and keyboard sounds. Good stuff
like the easy going start, nice horns, even flow
nice saxes, sounds like a sax orchestra, nice panning, good guitar, relaxed music, a bit long though
Nice sax parts with a good melody. Nice backing tracks.
Very well performed and produced contemporary jazz/fusion. Reminded me a lot of Vital Information, particularly the bass and sax. Flawless production, clean and smooth without being squashed to death by over-compression. Good kicking-back music!
Solid groove that is expertly performed and recorded. Very impressed with the mix here. Sounds very pro on my studio monitors. Being a bass player I like the bass part. Sounds like it is fretless. However, samples are so good now it is hard to know what's happening but the bass is presented beautifully here.
Nice tune. Strong instrumentation, good balance and structure, like the brass. Could easily fit to a movie score, or an advertisement. Fresh and vibrant good work.
I should say from the top that I'm not a personal fan of 80's sounding jazz fusion. But this song is very well done, with a great arrangement, instrumentation, and enough variety throughout to keep the listener's interest. The rhythm is tight, and the saxes sound great! It's mixed and mastered well with a good spread of the frequencies.
Great sounding beat, I love the sound of the drums and the horns really have a good blend, sounds a bit like Steely Dan.
Strong sax lead, tight rhythm section, appears to have been professionally produced, sounds great. Original ideas in the song & solos.
