I love the hippie vibes.
Nice simple sentiments carried in an equally laid back performance. This has a nice country-back-porch-swing mood.
Real pleasant tune that drifts along like a feather. Particularly liked the guitar work and the high part in the vocal mid way thru.
Nice Song. Very enjoyable. Love the genre anyway! Good production and balance of instruments. ...............
Great song, great harmony, You always make a song seem effortless....guitar playing is also great...what a wonderful song.... my very best for this song....we don't ever take enough time...
I love this song and its subject. The repetitions of each new subject neglected are perfect; they point out each thing we forget to appreciate in our rush through life. The voice is lovely and really pleasant, the melody fits the words. This is a good song well played and well sung, and it is wonderfully clever in a quiet, gentle way.
Slow down and be aware of what's around you - a strong idea for a song. (Echos of Paul Simon's 59th Street Bridge Song". Very nice movement into slow down and be aware of you (the singer's lover). Nice harmonies in "look at the sky" and "look at the sea" "look in your eyes" verses. Singers vocal style fits the song perfectly as does the guitar accompaniment. The overlapping voicings towards the end are very pretty.
This has the feel and sound of so much of the folk music out of the 1960's. Good stuff. Very easy-on-the-ears. Sadly, we don't hear a lot of music like this on main stream radio, but this is very nice. I like the gentle guitar playing. I like the harmony of the voices. Everything blends together well with the arrangement. This song belongs back in the 60's, and I mean that as a compliment. Today's music is usually too loud and in-your-face. This song is very different. I can actually sit down and listen to it without being offended or having to lower the volume on the radio. Don't know if there is just one singer doing all the tracks or 2/3 singers, but it's pretty sweet. I like this kind of music. Sometimes NPR or one of our small local community stations plays sweet tunes like this. This kind of music might also go-over well with grade schools and public libraries.
