Mahlik

Song Description

Mahlik is a Celtic piece with the name of a family from India. Actually the name is my shorthand for Mother likes. It is one of those that wrote itself, I just had to stay out the way. For awhile there was not a lot of Celtic on YouTube, I always liked the sound so I gave it a try. I hope you enjoy Mahlik.

Very interesting thematic transitions. Excellent instrumental mix; nothing over-played, all instruments blended well. I really liked the subtle backing tin whistle track which provided a nice contrast to the primary whistle track. The quality of the recording was very good!

I loved the music and the journey I felt it took me on. It was almost as if a wind was blowing through a forest and I could see the little forest sprites fluttering around and being whisk gently around by that same wind. I'm sure different listeners would visualize different things happening because the music is so open to the imagination.

Loved it, I think this song has real potential.

Really loved the sound, piano is great, whistle sound added nicely to this, synth pad sound well done
