This is such a beautiful song. The vocals are clear and beautiful, and come through as very honest. The guitar work is skillfully done and interesting to listen to, especially the dissonant chording. I love the word pictures. Great storytelling. The lock of his hair by her pillow. So much to visualize as I listened.

Interesting choice of chords, particularly in-between the verses and chorus. Guitar work is very good, clean, tasteful, better than average. The song sounds like something John Denver might have sung. I like the harmonies in the chorus. I think the song has commercial potential. Please see my constructive comments.
Very nice song. Very STRONG song that stands on it's own. Very solid and unique images backing a common story but lifting it above a common-place presentation. Nice voice that wavers just a bit, but that is expected in a solo, vocal-guitar recording. Really nice timber to the singer's voice. The guitar work and progressions are well-played and presented. All in all, a really enjoyable experience. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful guitar work, featured very heavily. I envy people who can play consistently well like that - I can't. My feeling is that the song itself came second to the guitar work which seemed a pity. The mixing seemed to keep the guitar in the foreground and the voice way in the back somewhere. To my mind, no matter how good the guitar is, it is nonetheless an accompaniment. One hopes that the words are sufficiently important to be the song's reason for being. Otherwise perhaps one should make it into an instrumental piece.
