Story Behind The Song

I wrote and recorded this song at a time where I was being doubted by a lot of different people around me. At the time I was new to music and I wasn't talking about the subjects that the majority of my peers were talking about, which made what I was doing different and abnormal to most people around me. I also had just started producing and engineering and although i wasn't great at all starting out, it didn't take me long before I was able to perfect my craft and prove everyone wrong. I wrote this song as I was making the beat for it and because of it I feel like everything came together organically and flawlessly. Being from the inner-city sometimes puts people like me in a box where all we know is what we're surrounded by and causes many of us to have no hope of anything better. If you love something and you truly believe in yourself, you should never let anyone tell you that it is unachievable or not possible.

Song Description

This is a song about times in your life when people doubted or didn't believe that your dreams were possible. Instead of letting these situations bring you down mentally or hinder you from reaching your goals, you have to keep on pushing and keep believing that everything will work out as long as you keep working and believe in yourself.
