Not only did REBEL NATION organize a team of extraordinary talent, but these talented individuals also possess the belief GOD. We're not all holier than thou, but with REBEL NATION came a band of individuals from the streets that decided to expose what we go thru mentally and spiritual as we bounce back and forth fighting. Our street side, our spiritual/mental side, our love and hate side. our good times and fun times and bad times. Emotions and thoughts that most real people go thru is in our music. Rebel Nation beginning
What started off as a past time to practice our freestyle flow turn into a creation of pure talent over banging beats. With the formation of our label-REBEL NATION in 2001 began the blending of stylish freestyle rhymes with slamming instrumentals. Starting with Soldier, Mista Kista, REB-1 & Outragus spawn a band of individuals with distinct lyrical abilities. Word spread of music we were playing around with and soon after BLC (The Grench, Cam aka Joe Cool and Mike Meezzee) were brought into add to the flavor already build bringing about our sophomore album "REBEL NATION - The Ruffdraft & The Ruffdraft 2.2. Our goal to put out hardcore Hip/Hop & Rap. Meaning Verbalistic rhyming songs that show real Hip/Hop skills & (rap) Street gutter songs as well. REBEL NATION IS official. But not yet done adding to the repertoure. We enveloped a new phase of artist Verbal_E_Bent & The GR8 Weas from around the Bay to continue to bring fresh assortment of flames. Being blessed is more like it. Not only were we able to group with other talent, but these talented individuals also possess their own special belief in GOD. Which we all shared (if only to ourselves) Now we bring to you a side of street dudes you might not have thought existed -- A side that resides in us all, but sometimes get submerged with the evils of this world. Most of us are in mid transition impulsely driven by evil, but trying to do good. Crack dap in the middle of this battle came Sonny. Bringing in a new direction for Rebel Nation. Now R&B would be added to the title of genres that REBEL NATION was to be displayed. And damn good R&B it was. Now an already talented member -- LADY SOUL can bring her R&B flavor to the scene throwing out hot ballets. Couldn't help but make master pieces. With the formation of REBEL NATION came a band of individuals from the streets that are in that transition and decided to expose what we go thru mentally and spiritual as we bounce back and forth fighting.....This is what we we show you in our music. Every song we make will you feel the intensity and depth of each REBEL artist as they illustrate different perspectives of their lives. Our street side, our spiritual/mental side, our love and hate side. our good times and fun times and bad times & of course our Hood Side. Emotions that most feel and thoughts that most real people go thru is in our music.
