I am a songwriter trapped in a drummer's body. Ha! I love writing music, but I can't sing to save my life. So I find ways around that. I have been in a cover band for 11 years now, and I finally got them to record a few of my songs on our last album. The tracks turned out great, but the band remains a cover band. Oh well. I am pursuing licensing and other options for my music on my own now, while still playing in the band to pay the bills. The one thing about my music is there really isn't just one or even two genres. I enjoy listening to rock, pop, AND country, and my music reflects that. Heck on the band's album, I wrote six songs (1 dance tune, 1 fun poppy tune, 1 up-tempo country rock, 1 country ballad, 1 pop-rock ballad, and 1 heavy rocker).
