Jan Jungden is a musician and composer. She began playing the accordion at age 9, and from there her interests grew to include flute, piano, organ, and synthesizer.
She developed her R&B roots touring with the the eclectic Jake and the Family Jewels. Jan leads the Jan Jungden Trio, playing flute and keyboards, with Bob Laramie, bass and Justin Blackburn, drums. In 2003, Jan released a CD of her own jazz and R&B compositions, "Smooth Ride".
With FUSE Funk band, Jan added one more instrument to her list - the keytar. She loves to express herself on that soulful instrument whether playing a guitar sound and bending notes or using it with a funky wah wah pedal. Jan wrote & arranged for FUSE Funk Band's CD, "Light it Up" released in April 2019.

She continues to write and produce originals in the jazz funk genre.
