Dave Colvinhas been writing songs sice he was 10 years old. Basically, he wanted to be a Beatle, in particular Paul McCartney!

As a proud native of Decatur, Illinois, Dave is an alumnus of MacArthur High School (1974) and Illinois State University(1978). He married his childhood sweetheart, Debbie Butts, in 1978 and they moved to Champaign in 1979. Dave began working for the Illinois State Board of Education as a School Systems auditor.

His daughter, Meredith, was born in 1981 and in 1988 they all moved to the Los Angeles area of California. After the 1994 Northridge earthquake, Dave moved his family to "more stable ground" in Nashville, Tennessee. Dave spent most of his career working in accounting and cash management for banks, a mortgage company and various healthcare companies.

After being downsized in 2006 Dave decided to commit his efforts full time to sharing his songs with the world! The hard work over the past 11 years has produced 3 song cuts!
