My name is Charles Pender. I am a classically trained musician who has been fortunate to gain a wealth of experience with jazz, R&B, and gospel music styles. I have composed and arranged music for jazz ensembles, concert/gospel choirs and two symphony orchestras. I also have composed jingles for colleges and restaurants for radio/T.V. airplay. Besides my faith and family, music is my life....so much so that I even compose and perform when I'm supposedly on vacation. I look forward to the "Broadjam" experience!!!

With a background in classical music I have expanded to jazz, pop, and gospel music styles. I also compose and arrange music for orchestras and ensembles. I have written jingles for commercials for both radio and television spots. I perform with several jazz ensembles including leading my own quartet. I am currently in the studio with my quartet working on a CD. Broadjam is an extension of my love for composing and performing fresh new music.
