really like your voice / singing - keep it up!
what did you think of my jingle, Earth Buddies? Just wondering.
Kids will always keep the listener engaged, but there is a fine line between what's effective and what isn't. The kids are genuine in this piece, but the delivery of the voice is garbled. Other than the opening line, it is extremely difficult to understand the lyric. In a jingle, you have to clearly hear the lyric for it to be effective. When the band enters at 17 seconds, the lyric is buried in the mix and hard to decipher. Certainly the right kids were picked as the tone of their voices are high quality and I believe this could be very effective. I would re-cut, give the kids very distinct direction on their vocal and make sure it's up front in the mix. Maybe bring in a fresh set of ears to assist with the production and mix. Hope this helps
JL, Pros: Nice voice, nice story. Good vocal phrasing...Cons: The melody of the hook is not strong enough. It's a great lyrical hook, but could use an improved melody to support it.....Also, would like to hear some more dynamic instrumentation to support the vocal......Song has great potential, but needs some production work....Hope this helps...Roy
