Hey Jim - nice songs... just reading you're bio info below about the gift of Music.... totally agree. If you get a minute, please have a listen to a song i wrote several years ago, called "Given the gift of music". Let me know what you think... Play on! MSL

Thank You so much! First Gospel for me, even after being baptized when I was 18. Great having my wife on the mix, she has the perfect voice that she doesnt think she does. jim
Christopher, thanks for the writ-up! yes better recording, to be honest this was the first song I ever recorded by myself. Actually I do all of them. But man did I make every blunder you could. I did all the instrments, and as I just learned or was in the process of learning the drums, I turned the beat into a skip heart beat. the original has a more steady 4/4 type beat with a stop, one day i will re-record thanks again! jim

Thanks for your write up of Cill me, harsh, but I wrote, and played all instruments, and sang. the song in a nut shell is about being addicted. Your songs sound very smooth and profesional. It's only me here. peace j
I don't recall what I wrote but if it was harsh it must have been my alterego at work. I do like the rawness of Cill Me. There are 2 things that sorta bother me. I can't understand many of the lyrics and I'm lame...I don't know what Cill Me means. Btw...I practiced alcoholism for many years...clean for 17 years now....As far as the smoothness of our songs...it's not me it's my partner..he's a real live musician who after his midlife crisis (which has lasted approximately 25 years) wants to be an engineer. We have been blessed with lots of help and lots of studio experience. It has it's downside believe me. Keep writing your style...it's you. What I think is irrelevant to your path. Stay commited....Thanks for the compliment on the songs...I wish you the best and always follow your dream! Ron
