Thanks for reviewing my song 'Goodnight' You said the recording 'could be better' but didn't provide any detail about how it could be better. Interestingly, I am in the middle of rerecording this song. The version you reviewed was recorded back in 1985 in one quick 2 hour session. I have added a bridge and started recording it from scratch on much better equipment and without a deadline. I hope you get a chance to hear it when it's complete!
Tzuriel, i look forward to hearing the new recording. with regards to the "recording could be better" i mean the volume could be crisper and the lyrics being sung could be clearer. with a new recording im sure you will get track to a better standard. hope my review helped...
Yep. That's the main reason for redoing it. Even though the song is over 25 years old, I am hoping it's aged well! Thanks Desmond.
Yes I would like to hear more from you. I'm sorry I couldn't give you much advice concerning your recording, because right now I am in recording school. But hopefully one day I will be able to help more. Thanks, Freddie P.

Freddie, Thanks for the review and comments. I will most certainly keep them in mind when recording my next tune.
Thanks for the review & the constructive comments! I will be applying them in my music! peace
Its always the same routine with new members that have no reviewing 'chops'....I'm trying to get b'jam to consider a training session, where new members review a 'target-song' and then b-jam rates and corrects the reviewer and the review...so, your review on our song is sub-standard.........here is a typical review that this song has enjoyed over the last several years, not to mention being a finalist in the UK Song Contest! General Overview What Genre is most appropriate for this song? Jazz Song Analysis Does this song have market potential? 5/5 Would you like to hear more from this artist? 5/5 Quality of Lyrics 5/5 Quality of the Hook 4/5 Quality of Instrumentation 5/5 Instrumentation Quality of Vocal Pitch 5/5 Production Quality of Recording 5/5 Quality of Arrangement 5/5 Originality of Song 5/5 Overall Rating 5/5 Positive Comments I applaud you! You're the first person I've giving Excellent ratings. This was very well put together. If you are a live performer, I would definitely come support you. Constructive Comments Nothing negative to say...... These other artists have hit on a deficiency in reviewing, and I suggest, unless you want to alienate a large segment of the membership, as these fellows are saying, "Get It Together Freddie!"
Rich, Maybe you are right, I don't have much experience with reviewing songs, but I assure you I did my best. If you feel like I need to get it together what do you think I could do to help myself become a better reviewer?
Thank You for asking!......firstly, I recommend focusing on the genre or genre's of music that you are most at home with...and actually I practice what I preach.....I stay within the confines of jazz (which has become a broad and far-reaching category in and of itself)....and even though I'm 'authorized' to dabble in classical, pop, country, r&b and some of the others, I remain anchored in jazz which is an area that I really have some time in service (55 years) and can help artists.......you had an issue with the category of "Could I Love You More" and really you shouldn't have, because its a close call saying its more jazz than another category, like 'pop', for example....and at the end of the day, who actually cares?......these are concerns that writers and critics get all nervous and finicky about, but not musicians.....musicians could give a shi- less...you dig?...............anyway, to finish answering your question to me, just be real with the people that you're reviewing.....spell out some detailed suggestions if you can help with something that you hear that's not quite up to par, and say some nice things about elements of the performance that you like.......always 'try' and be generous with your scoring.....everything on moving up in the top 10's at Broadjam revolves around scoring 5's in the review......so, if you're reviewing something that is between a 4 and a 5, always give that musician the benefit of the doubt and help him/her move up the ladder! Once again, I appreciate you asking about this....please spread the word!
Freddie, my response to your review of my song "So Satisfyin" is exactlly the response "LaMont Anthony" sent to you.. Get it together Freddie..

Hi Freddie, Thanks for your generous review of "Timebomb", grateful for your kind comments and feedback. As I don't have a great voice like yours I have to stick to instrumentals. Thanks Tommy

Freddie! Thanks for reviewing my song The Prodigal Kind. Your suggestions are well taken. I do want to do more with the song, but for budget reasons (I have no money!) it is simply a guitar demo. Appreciate the critique. Thanks! Matt
You're more than welcome Matthew... don't give up playing whatever you do you're very talented
Thank you for your review of guitar sweep. On my trip here, I've given a listen to your music. Great stuff. Wonderful vocal style. Classic harmonies going on here.
Thanks, I appreciate your comments...
Thank you for reviewing this Song "Wonder Why"; some of the pitchy parts in that song was duly noted and had been pointed out by the staff at JayPMusic/Urban Legendz USA. No excuse but, at the time this artist who also wrote the lyrics was 14 years of age, J2 (ASCAP); has improved considerably since then. I thank you for your time, because I know that your time is valuable. Feel free to checkout more of my work (J2), and some of our other Family members at JayPMusic/Urban Legendz USA. Thanks Again, Warm Regards J2
You're more than welcome... keep up the good work
