Nice of you to reply Ashley. Played your three other songs / instrumental backing track and really enjoyed! Quality singing in Black-Hearted Cowboy and The Long Winding Down. You produce a great live instrument sound. Extremely crisp to the ears! Great guitar backing and lead guitar in bridge. Leviathan Lyrics will be worth waiting for if the music is anything to go by! My songs are all different! I write what I like or whatever comes to me so it is diverse. Feel free to listen to them. "The Promise" and "Drift Away are emotional but I have a couple of Country numbers too! Ashley, can I ask if you could listen to, "Reach the Sky" and consider recording it? No problem if it is too fast or too traditional for you. I think your singing could relate well with the Lyric. I wrote it for a female singer but came across Tim who has a good Country voice so had him record it, but I really wish to hear it sung by a great female voice. I made a home movie for it and it features the girl! Let me know your thoughts? Oh, and you could adapt to suit using your own musicians! Cheers, jim
Top Lyrics and melody in my opinion! "I did something I shouldn't've done, But I'd do it again" Great hook, and sentiment which evokes a relatable emotion! Just read your Beautiful Sin Reviewed by Alex Johnstone and do not agree in 3/5 for Market potential! 5/5! Definitely! I'm considering a Review of my song, "The Promise", using Alex! He is steeped in the business! I write how I feel and not genre specific; but probably not what you would be interested in! Just love your vocals! I suppose a singer creates more emotion if singing their own song! Do you recommend a favourite of yours I must hear? Go girl, Go!

I missed it terribly when I first moved away. Now I just feel a desire to come back occasionally. My nephew, Michael Gaither, is a pretty well know Singer/Sonwriter in Santa Cruz county so we come down once in a while to go to one of his events. My kids all grew up there during the 60s-70s.

Ashley, I was reading your comments on the difficulty of recording vocals for Leviathan. That's a bummer. Ironically I've had better access to nearly everything this year and have been able to get quite a lot done. I think Georgia has been a lot less restricted than California. Anyway I write like a madman (407 songs to date) and I would love the opportunity to have you sing some of my songs at a future date if you are open to session work. Until then keep up the fight!
Hi Dale. Wow, I'm flattered by your offer. My friend, Frank, with the studio has been more open, we were able to get some of the vocals down, but the song needs a little more work. Thanks Ashley. I think my approach to music reflects my multi-cultural heritage, as well as growing up in the Caribbean where any single radio station might play reggae, rock, soca, jazz or disco all in the same hour!

Ashley! Just reviewed "Empty Space"! Your guitar sounds good but needs to be brightened up a bit. You could switch to Bronze wrapped strings, or change the EQ. Another trick I used on my Hummingbird was to get a set of brass pins at the bottom of the strings instead of plastic! It worked great for me! All The Best! Catnip

Your welcome!... when you had your other vocals up I know I put them in playlist so so how were you able to transfer the playlists to another version? It was so you lost all corespondents on the old song. Just curious. I loved your male singer on the song also.... I did " I'm On Fire" cover but had my producer as lead and I was an echo... Bruce's video I felt the woman had feelings as well... so I was the echo in the back ground. I sing my music for pleasure and if anyone gets a moment of pleasure from listening to my songs I have done my job. Be safe and well. Delta🎶🎶🎶
