An experienced tunesmith with a background of years and years as lead vocalist and principal songwriter in a number of smalltime Rock/Pop/Alternative semi-pro indie bands. My tunes are characterised by a strong sense of melody, although actually I usually build them from the bassline up. My influences are mainly Indie rock and pop bands from the Punk era onwards; The Jam, Blondie, Echo & Bunnymen, Nirvana, Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro...This list could actually go on for days...

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!
(No news IS good news, isn't it?).

Freakwave..who?

Freakwave is no longer a functioning unit. It consisted of:
Colin - vocals, gtr
Postie - gtr, BVs
Phil - Bass
Frank - drums.
It was not really a band; more a songwriting collective, ..and it still isn't officially dead, so we may re-convene sometime to write a few more chunes. We might even try management again if the right artist comes along! Freakwave Records however, definitely no longer exists. We won't be going there again.

Wow! Just wrote a song in a day today, called Energy To Burn . That is super-fast by my standards. It's a fast-tempo high-octane gallop through a handful of power chords in the key of E. Only prob is, it's all still in my head! Now, to set about getting it down......
