Classique Records provides public access to Anthony Hart Music Publishing (BMI) catalog. AHM was created in 1982 in Austin, TX. Its original purpose was to publish the works of Lamar Pecorino, but soon expanded to include additional writers.

During the 1980s, AHM opened operations in LA. Its focus was on the genre of R& B, Urban Contemporary and Dance/Pop music.

The 1990s saw AHM move into the expanding markets for Country and Gospel music. That growth lead to establishing operations in Nashville.

The 2000s lead AHM to pursue more niche markets such as Jazz and Cabaret. Though it never operated in NY, it established meaningful connections within those genres.

As AHM enters into its 4th decade, it continues to work in the aforementioned genres that are responsible for its longevity as well as developing material for new media applications.
