Chuck Campbell has developed his outlaw style of music by listening to the likes of Waylon, Cash and Hank. Their outlaw style and sound struck a chord, prompting Chuck to learn to play the guitar and develop his own style of outlaw music through his original songwriting. In the past several years he has been priviledged to be a Top 5 Nominee for Nashville's CCMA New Artist of the year, He is the 2007 Texas based Agape Fest Male Horizon Award Winner. His debut album " Walkin A Little Straighter" had phenominal success with 2 of the tracks having national charting and distribution nationally as well as over seas.
His current album "Outlaws and Angels" reviewed by Powersource Magazine
"The great thing I have to say are the strong vocals accompanied by appropriate Country lyrics and good harmony vocals. The best song on the album in my opinion is ?He Knew Me When He Was Hanging? written by Bill Wolfenbarger and his deceased friend Charles Lilly. This is a great Inspirational Country song and should do very well on Positive Country stations. Songwriter Bill Wolfenbarger comments that the story behind that song is almost as powerful as the song itself! Chuck put his songwriting abilities to work and wrote three of the songs on the album."
