Cadillak is an independent singer /songwriter with a wide array of musical influences both eclectic and eccentric.
I'm grateful to announce that my song GRAY MISTY MORNING has won Mike Pinder's SONGWARS contest in the Country Category for the fourth quarter in 2009.
Cadillak is an indie singer/songwriter that has performed and recorded in Las Vegas and Nashville.
I have a wide array of influences which include The DOORS, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd(which one is Pink?), The WHO, Jackson Browne and Jim Croce. There are many more influences but these artist are the most easily identified by me.
I consider myself similar to an architect, the blueprint is in my mind.
I started writing when in college. My first recording was in Las Vegas it was called "I Was Thinking About You". While living in Las Vegas I also performed live on a television show which was a much smaller version of Starsearch or American Idol. My performance received enough votes to perform an original song live. Next I went to Nashville to record three originals in 1994. In 2006, two of the three originals were rerecorded and updated, 12 years later. Where did the time go?
In 2008 two more original songs were recorded in Nashville. Another project was just completed locally, which is more on the Rock side. The Nashville recordings are Country.
