Info
I generally do not write songs for fun, but rather out of necessity, provoked by varying degrees of emotions. Stricken with the right inspiration, a song will come along rather easily. However, as is the case lately, due to a very happy and busy family life, songs come to me more in stages. I'll usually be doodling along on my guitar for a few days working a chord progression, when a phrase will marry itself to this progression and a song will start to build. Completion will depend upon available time and energy. I work hard at creating thoughtful and intelligent lyrics, and my songs try to stick to a central theme connected to some kind of a hook or common life experience. In most cases the hook was that phrase that came out of a newly developed chord progression. I have a decently sized library of music but only enough time to have recorded the songs currently available. I hope you have some time to listen and enjoy, Brian.

just finished a mix to a song i wrote 12 yrs ago. It's called "Our Time is Now." added to this one is several other songs i recorded this summer (some new and some re-mixes), including a vocal solo by Courtney. if you've got the time give them a listen. i got a lot of help with some of these songs by some good people, and great musicians from Nashvile. hope you like 'um, quig.
