Since his first win in a local songwriting contest in 2001, Brent Lillie has enjoyed success at state, national and international levels.
He is a three times finalist in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, a two times finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition, a two-times winner of the We Are Listening International Lyric Award, a winner and runner-up in the ASA Australian Songwriting Awards, a Category Winner (2019) and Finalist in the Great American Song Contest, a winner in Unsigned Only and a winner in the lyrics category of the $5000 Cash Prize Songwriting Contest. He received an invitation to perform his original material at Nashville's famous Bluebird Cafe and his successes in the USA Songwriting Competition gave him the opportunity to play at the SXSW Festival.
Brent has steadily been adding to an already impressive resume and realising his goals. His extensive catalogue spans several genres including comedy, folk/roots, country, ballads and jazz.
