Aspire 2 Music LLC, based near NYC in Clinton, NJ, is an online, independent song plugging and music publishing company specializing in indie and unsigned Country and Americana artist projects. Anne M. Freeman is the founder and president of Aspire 2 Music LLC, the independent, online Country music song plugging service and publishing company. She is the former editor in chief of MusicDish.com, the premier online music business trade journal. She is a music industry columnist, having written for several magazines and trade journals, including MusicDish, The Country Music Scene magazine, SongRamp, and others. Her articles have been published on various sites and publications, including the Indie Music Bible.
Anne honed her songwriting skills through her membership in the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). She studied under Songwriter/Teacher/Author Jason Blume (Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney, Collin Raye, the Oak Ridge Boys and John Berry; teacher for NSAI, BMI-Nashville, and author of many books and support materials) and Songwriter/Teacher/Author Rick Beresford (George Jones, Director of Kerrville Folk Festival Song School and NSAI, and other pro songwriters. As an NSAI member, Anne was trained to be a songwriting workshop coordinator, and led the Princeton, NJ, chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), where she taught songwriting workshops and led songwriting and music business seminars and events for more than six years.
