Sounds Like: James Newton Howard, John Williams
Tristan, thanks for reviewing "Bluthner Solitude". Your comments about usage in a horror film are very insightful. My first arrangement of this had the piano much more cinematic with reverb placement and detuning . . . however, I settled on the current arrangement. The song has been picked up by a library but do the possibilities ever end? Thanks again!
Thank you very much for the review of, "Eerie Night"! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. John Hazlett.
nice to meet you Tristan and thank you for the very in depth and ACCURATE review of No More Worries 'bout Me--you nailed the flaws, but nailed the quality as well--i sung this myself, hence the vocal take, and the piano player was in L.A, he sent me some chords, i wrote the song with Newman in mind, lyrics and melody--, so you are spot on sir! many thanks for your kind words and accuracy---all the best, Warren Hein
No problems at all. I wasn't sure about the vocal, I assumed it was probably a case of the writer putting their vocals down. If this is a case where you'd then look to give it to another singer, then I think your vocal was more than adequate to show the potential and style of the song.
you got it again on the head! all the best Tristan, WH
No worries, take care
