Suzanne Vick is a powerful & versatile performer who instills her own soulful style into all of her songwriting. Voted "Best Singer/Songwriter" in the New Haven Advocate's 2010 & 2011 Grand Band Slams (reader's poll), Suzanne has released five original titles to date, including her debut album, The Brightness of Orchids and a single called "Loud & Free," which was written in honor and in memory of Cathy Fox, who was killed by her husband in Milford, CT last fall. Suzanne teaches voice, piano, songwriting and music theory by day, and performs throughout the state both as a solo artist and with her brother as "The Light Hearts." Suzanne is currently celebrating the release of her first music video for "I Wanna Know," which she co-wrote with CT-based musician Ed Daniels as part of an album project called "Collaborations." Suzanne Vick - Bio
Described by many as a "powerhouse vocalist," Suzanne Vick is a commanding & versatile performer who instills her own soulful style into all of her songwriting. Suzanne has released 5 original titles to date, including her debut album, The Brightness of Orchids in 2009 for which she was voted "Best Singer/Songwriter" in the New Haven Advocate's 2010 & 2011 Grand Band Slams (reader's poll, CT). In 2012, she released her first music video for "I Wanna Know," a single she co-wrote with CT-based musician Ed Daniels as part of an album project called "Collaborations." The video was voted #1 in the POP category of the Intel Video Superstars contest on Ourstage.com (May 2012).
Suzanne teaches voice, piano, songwriting and music theory, and performs throughout the region both as a solo artist and with her brother, Brian Kiss in their folk project, "The Light Hearts." The duo will release their debut album, "This Fine Line" in June!
