I am Sophie Dare ex-musician and conductor.
Now I am international Manager of rock band MIRRORSESSIONS.
They are Epic. Romantic. Suicidal. Beautiful.
Mirrorsessions are an original four-piece who emerged mid-2004 on the Wollongong scene piecing together influences from Pink Floyd, Muse and Led Zeppelin.
Started by classically trained guitarist and vocalist Adam Hendry and rhythm guitarist Nicholas Russo from a mutual fondness of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley, they soon found something unexpected. They were later joined by Grant Malfitano on drums, and a revolving line up of bass players without Visas, before settling on Conservatorium trained bassist Rhett Keen.
The band began to create music that quickly separated them from their predecessors and contemporaries due to their uncanny ability to fashion musical soundscapes from a foundation of carefully chaotic rhythm noise, frenetic drumming, a cutting lead that is as emotional as it is accomplished .

Mirrorsessions. Epic. Romantic.
"The atmospheric, spacey rock flies and dreams, coming across like a tight, magical, once-in-a-lifetime jam." - The Brag
Mirrorsessions: love the refreshingly heady, improvised rock sounds, laid back at the same time mesmerizing. This is a group that could go down in Japan. I can already imagine them performing live and as performance and showmanship is 50% of performance in Japan;
I think that with profile building they could build a fan base an ultimately sell CD’s.

The production on this one is definitely a cut above the other artists on unearthed. Obviously a band who cares about the overall sound as well as rocking out. That middle part that leads into the bass solo is out of sight! reminds of some crazy Mars Volta stuff, but overall a rockin' Jeff Buckley song with hints of Muse or something? Anyway, I love it.

Awesome track. Great build up, it's truly potent, it swells your emotions, you can't help but get caught up with it. You guys have harnessed every positive aspect of the band and jam packed it into one track, the solos are beautiful, and it's great to see a well worked bass solo by very talented Rhett Keen in the mix.
A mixture of intimate moments that explode and expand.

“It is like you were born in the 60s, absorbed all that was awesome before the horrible 80s, froze yourselfs, unthawed somethime late 90s, then adapted yourself to the modern market. Very nice blend indeed. Want to hear more stuff from you”.

”The swell of the arrangement and vocals mirror the title. Lots of power and tone coming through in the arrangement.
The hard hits in the arrangement brings a stronger rock form into the track. Even the quieter opening predicts the harder hit to come from the arrangement. The vocals, and arrangement on this track reminds me lot of peers in the genre such as Twilight Singers”. A&R Movie industry, Taxi.com
“You have a new fan for your music, Sophia! The manner and delivery of these tracks appeal to me very much. The build and sonics are set in a moving landscape that brings in the ebbs and flows, the hard and soft seamlessly. The theatrical tone of the tracks brands them into your arsenal that is based in innovation and influence. As I mention, there are peers providing the same presence in bands such as Greg Dulli's new project Twilight Singers and in the current work of Muse. Though these tracks are stellar and well produced”.
