Story Behind The Song
This song is inspired by people (particularly boys) who don't want to grow up...the proverbial "Peter Pan complex". It is also inspired by Ponce De Leon and this search for the Fountain Of Youth. It also was written at a time in the writer's life when he was struggling with the idea of whether or not to have kids with his partner at the time. With a fear of growing up, and the thought that having children would only speed up that process, the epiphany was that children are a path to living more of a youthful life.

Lyrics
With an ambling wanderlust sought out Bimini Isle
to bathe and to quaff from the grape vine of life
An arcane mystical spring of vitality
spawning an elixir granting eternity
An imaginary place where we return to innocence
as cherubs and boy derelicts full of nonsense
But there's no such thing but what lies within
where fiction and magic are truth
it's clear now that this is where life begins
a child is a fountain of youth
There's a rumor of a boy child who never grows up
selfish, full of mischief sees life how he wants
Says we all can fly find our isle if we believe
where times stops we go with happy thoughts joie de vivre
And every new born baby's laugh shatters into tiny shards
and each one assigned to a fairy in charge
But there's no such thing but what lies within
where fiction and magic are truth
it's clear now that this is where life begins
a child is a fountain of youth
If Ponce De Leon had met Peter Pan
then maybe just one of them could understand
Even to live two times from birth to man
your youth is still firmly in hand
