They met each other at a baseball game on a hot, humid August night.
From the very first kiss, they were bound to marry... Was meant to be, and so right.
After work every day he brought her flowers...He kissed her in the doorway
Would hang up his hat...hold her beautiful hands
This is what he would say:

Raised a family and grew older together.
Seemed it would never end.
But the doctor's report didn't look good for her, his best friend.
He would visit every day and hold her hand.
She seemed to have no fear.
Would bring her flowers, kiss her tenderly.
